Our mission

With the Good Kidds, we believe that what the client wants comes first. We customize each event to the taste of our clients and use our skill to make sure the vibe is right. The Good Kidds started as a way to simplify the event DJ scene and provide an option for people who want a party, but also someone who’s professional. Our roster started out as DJs and learned how to do events throughout years of putting in work. We have seen it all and can make adjustments on the fly to work with you for your events.

We Keep our pricing simple so you don’t have to worry about hidden fees with us. Whether you want to be hands on with the music selection or you’d rather just trust the DJ, we can work with you and everything in between. We’re transparent DJ’s who love music and enjoy making sure our clients have an amazing all around experience.

DJ Chris Kidd

Originally from Houston, TX. DJ Chris Kidd started DJing in New Orleans, LA while in college at Xavier University of LA. Chris Kidd graduated from house parties in undergrad to Bourbon St bars and clubs while in grad school at Tulane University for Social Work. Chris left social work and began DJing full-time in 2017. His current and past clients include Navy Pier, Dunkin Donuts, Hornblower Cruises, Last Call Tavern Group, Berkshire Hathaway, Hopsmith Tavern, Fatpour, Salesforce and more.
